(01/05/2023) - New comment section!
Oh yeah, this is happening! I've had different plans this month such as posting more articles, but out of curiosity i decided to try making a comment section in PHP. I already knew of one website that had accomplished this, but i was discouraged at first because the website in question has so much going on behind the scenes to the point that it has it's own DATABASE. I really didn't think it was possible, but i've managed to implement it in around the same capacity which opens up a lot of possibilities.

(14/04/2023) - Paint program drama
I know some sprite artists that use Microsoft Paint, and it's no wonder why. It's very simple, and as long as it fits the needs of a person then it might as well be perfect. They don't need to learn anything else, they're the most efficent with Paint. That's good and all, but what if you want to do more than basic pixel art? What about image editing? Yeah, Paint is extremely barebones and it also makes me question how such a minimal image editing program could still be bundled with such a large operating system. There is absolutely no support for TRANSPARENCY, and this bothers me because they put in the effort to redesign Paint for the dumpster fire of an OS that is Windows 11!

(12/04/2023) - Running the NT4 shell under Windows 2000
There are a couple of older forum threads here and there on how to go about restoring the Windows 95 shell, except, that only works for Windows 9x. Could have something like that been done with NT in mind? Would that even work? Well sure, a couple of pages i found do demonstrate that it's possible! It is a lot more unstable though, and you are bound to run into problems with how icons are to be displayed and such. Not only that, but some programs will cause the explorer to crash outright! It doesn't really matter as this is all for novelty's sake either way. If you're gonna run Windows 2000 or XP, then you should at least have a computer fast enough that's capable of running the newer programs on these OSs.

(16/02/2023) - Removing Internet Explorer from Windows 98
In order to beat out Netscape, Microsoft integrated Internet Explorer into the shell for Windows 98 and it was pretty heavy on the systems of the era. While Windows 95 can run smoothly on a 486, Windows 98 requires a faster Pentium for a good user experience at the very least. In this guide, i'll show you what files you need to modify to completely eliminate IE from Windows 98! You might be wondering as to why anyone would do this, especially nowadays, but even a small performance boost can make file browsing much less tedious.

(01/02/2023) - Windows 11 is an abomination
Windows 10 would be the last version of Windows, they said! Well that was a total lie but i'm sure all of you know that by now. To be completely serious for a moment, Windows 11 is probably the worst version of Windows to come out so far. Asides from the blown out system requirements, it has been made to look like a fisher price toy and it's also extremely bloated. And yet, people still insist to upgrade and defend this version of Windows for no valid reason! I figure that i might as well step in to spread the message that Windows 11 is AWFUL.
