I've been an artist since I could hold a crayon.
I've been a photographer since I could hold a camera.

My senior year in high school, I had the highest rated
photograph at the National Journalism Education
Association Conference, beating out hundreds
of photographers from around the nation. 

Some of my fellow competitors
were using thousands of dollars worth of
equipment, while I was shooting with a
Mamiya/Secor screwmount 35mm
my dad bought in Vietnam
before I was born.

The very same camera took all the photographs
on my photography page, I still use it today. 
Digital cameras just don't have the same
depth or richness, at least not digital
cameras in my price range.
