ARTIST NOTE:
This was the very first piece of art i did - after resurrecting my artistic prowess and painting again
for the first time since childhood... i tacked a piece of posterboard up on the wall in the attic of the restaurant
in Alaska where i was living and working for the summer... I sketched the outline quickly, subconsciously... but once
i started coloring it in, a panoply of interesting creatures began popping up in the piece. My girlfriend at the time
was very emotional, and i realized this represented the vast, myriad facets of her infinitely complex personality.
