ARTIST NOTE:
On the surface, a simple sketch of pastels, oil paint and charcoal... but this has a deeper meaning,
as my Alaskan girlfriend had lost 40 pounds while we were together, and this painting, which i did
upon returning to California, depicts her lost weight, and sadness, drifting away as
a balloon floating skyward, into the twilight...
